Tonight, parents will meet the Kindergarten teachers and attend an orientation meeting to learn how best to support their student during the upcoming transition! Food Trucks will be available for a bite to eat!

On Friday, we held our very first Career Day event, and it was a huge success! We are so thankful for the support, time, and engaging presentations shared by our families, Round Rock ISD Police Department, Round Rock Police Department, Round Rock EMS, Round Rock Fire Department, and the amazing Stony Point High School FFA team! Our students had an incredible experience learning about different careers and the many pathways available to them in the future.

Good afternoon!
Due to the Field Day date change, we are currently in need of additional volunteers to help support our event. Unfortunately, approximately 15 of our previously scheduled volunteers are no longer able to attend because of the new date.
We would greatly appreciate any additional help to ensure Field Day continues to run smoothly and remains a fun and successful experience for our students. If you are available to volunteer, please complete the updated volunteer form linked below.

Tonight RRISD celebrated our teacher and paraprofessional of the year. Forest Creek is incredibly lucky to have Mrs. Harris and Ms. Sophia. You both are the heart of Forest Creek and we are so lucky to witness the endless love and energy you pour into our students, campus, and community every day! 💜💚!
Our Field Day has a new date and is now set for Wednesday, May 13! We’re getting excited for a day full of fun, games, and Coyote spirit. 🦊☀️

Rainy Day Dismissal (with lightning)
Car rider dismissal will remain the same as always. ALL student walkers or bike riders will report to the cafeteria.
ALL Parents/Guardians will complete the Google Form.
Parent/Guardian will meet their student at the front entrance.
Teachers will check the spreadsheet and release each student to their parent/guardian.
Bus riders will sit in the hallway between the cafeteria and the gym. The walls will be labeled with the appropriate bus number. Once the bus arrives, you will be radioed to escort students out of the building and onto the bus.
LID and daycare will wait inside the building in the main hallway with cones. Once the bus arrives, you will be radioed to escort students out of the building and onto the bus.
***** For the safety of everyone, we are following the UIL recommendation for lightning safety. If there is lightning detected within 10 miles of campus, we will stay indoors. The distance of lightning is determined by the Weatherbug app. We must have 30 minutes of lighting-free weather to release students outside without an adult if they are walking or riding their bikes.

If you plan to check out your child to attend a sibling’s Field Day session (for example, a K–2 student attending a 3–5 session), you must check them out through the front office, leave campus, and return during the appropriate Field Day time.
We have updated the volunteer form to reflect the new date. If you are able to support, we would greatly appreciate it. Even if you previously signed up, please complete the updated form to confirm your availability for May 13.

Dear Forest Creek Families,
We are closely monitoring the weather as we prepare for our upcoming Field Day on May 1st. Current forecasts show a high likelihood of rain, with the Weather Channel predicting an 80% chance and the Apple Weather app showing a 95% chance of precipitation. The projected high temperature for the day is around 65 degrees.
Based on this information, there is a strong possibility that we may need to postpone our Field Day experience. Our priority is to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all students.
On a positive note, Field Day shirts are scheduled to arrive this week, and all students will receive their shirts by Friday.
We will continue to monitor the forecast and will communicate any updates by Wednesday, April 29th. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
