We are excited for our winter parties tomorrow!
If you plan to take your student home after the class party, a sign-out sheet will be available in the classroom. Only parents or guardians may sign students out directly from the classroom. Any other relatives or friends wishing to pick up a student must check in through the front office.
To help ensure a smooth dismissal, please make sure that anyone you authorize to pick up your student is listed on your student’s emergency contact list or that you email permission to your child’s teacher and copy our registrar at Dina_Turner@roundrockisd.org. Emails must be sent from the parent email address on file and should include your student’s first and last name, as well as the first and last name of the person authorized to pick up your student.
All individuals picking up a student will be required to present a photo ID. Also, we have many items in our lost and found, so before you leave, please check to see if you've left anything behind. All items will be donated on Friday after 2:00 pm.

Forest Creek Science Fair Registration is open to all students K-5. It will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
Teachers will be handing out packets to all students in grades 4 and 5 and, upon request, to all students in the other grades. Please complete the registration form below to register your child’s project in our 2026 Science Fair. 14 of our 3rd-5th winners will advance to the Greater Austin Regional Science and Engineering Fair on February 21, 2026, at the Palmer Events Center.
Several helpful links are embedded in the packet. All 4th and 5th-grade students will receive a printed packet.

If you are looking for a fun holiday experience, Cedar Ridge High School Theatre Department is putting on their 2nd annual Holiday Spectacular this weekend, Friday, December 5th, and Saturday, December 6th. The experience starts with holiday-themed "lands" like Santa's Workshop (Santa will be there), Winter Wonderland, Nutcracker, Gingerbread Land, and more. There will be lots of fun activities for kids and lots of photo ops. The themed lands are open from 6:00 - 7:15 pm. Then, the theatre students will put on a Spectacular Holiday show on the stage with songs, dancing, holiday karaoke, and more. There are some of our own Forest Creek students in the show!
These kids have been working so hard to put on a fun, joyful experience for the community. Hope you can come and check it out this weekend. You can click this link to buy tickets RRISD Fine Arts Box Office.
Picture retakes will take place on Wednesday, December 3rd.
Students who purchased pictures and would like a retake should return their original picture packet to the photographer. There is no additional charge as long as the packet is returned.
Students who purchased a digital download only may have their photo retaken and do not need to return anything.
Students who were absent on picture day or did not purchase a package but would like a new photo are also welcome to participate in retakes.

We are excited to announce that our Art to Remember fundraiser is officially underway! Students have created wonderful artwork in the art room, and each piece has been uploaded to the Art to Remember website for families to enjoy.
We encourage you to take a moment to view your child’s artwork online. If you’d like to participate, you can order from a large variety of customizable items—from mugs and ornaments to magnets, tote bags, notebooks, and more. These make perfect holiday gifts and keepsakes, and every item will arrive before winter break, just in time for the season!
Orders are due by November 17th, so please be sure to place your order by that date.
Every purchase directly supports the Forest Creek Art Program. Funds raised help us provide special projects, purchase clay, and ensure that all students have the materials they need to create beautiful, meaningful artwork all year long.
